Question: I am worried if I place my order online someone will be able to steal my credit card number. How do you prevent this?
Answer: We use the latest secure server technology and encryption from VeriSign to prevent credit card theft and fraud. We also record the IP address of the computer you are at when you place the order to help us track any fraudulent ordering attempts. Rest assured, it is safe to order online with us, we guarantee it.
Question: Why can't I seem to add items to my online shopping cart?
Answer: First, make sure your browser is set to accept cookies. Also, after 20 minutes of inactivity (not actively browsing our site), your shopping cart and your session will be terminated. This should not happen as long as you stay on our site and are browsing our store.
Question: What are cookies?
Answer: Your browser must be set to accept cookies if you place your order online. We also recommend at least Netscape 4.06 or Internet Explorer 4.01 at minimum. Cookies are messages that a Web server transmits to a Web browser so that the Web server can keep track of the user's activity on a specific Web site. The message that the Web server conveys to the browser is in the form of an HTTP header that consists of a text-only string. The text is entered into the memory of the browser. The browser in turn stores the cookie information on the hard drive so when the browser is closed and reopened at a later date the cookie information is still available. Answer: We strive to ship all in-stock items within 48 hours. Please allow additional time during the holidays. Any backordered items will ship immediately when they arrive. If you have an order with one backordered item and several in-stock items, be sure to let us know that you would like us to ship ahead the in-stock items by contacting us. Answer: Shipping costs for our U.S. customers can be found here. Our international customers are charged actual shipping costs and we will charge your card the exact amount when the order ships.
Question: Why are your prices different on your website then in your catalog?
Answer: You have an out of date catalog. The prices on our website are the most current because we use our actual pricing database. Please fill out a catalog request form to obtain the most current catalog.
Question: How do I order online?
Answer: When you see an item you would like to buy, add it to the cart by either clicking the buy button or the add button. Make sure you have entered a quantity other than 0 to add the item. Keep adding items to your online shopping cart until you are ready to check out. At that time, click the checkout button located at the top of any of the store pages. Only checkout when you are sure you don't want to add any more items. This will avoid submitting multiple orders.

Answer: You can search the site two different ways. You may enter either a stock number or partial item description in the form at the top left of any store page. Alternatively, you may use our more powerful Advanced Search to easily find any item we carry.
